I became an egg

inside a refrigerator.
I was a bad egg,
cold.
Soon I may be cracked,
Not bad for an egg;
Then into a frying pan,
Also not bad
to become nourishment
for the hand that breaks
my shell.
Or I may wind up
in hot water,
Not bad, too.
Heat is good
for a cold egg
to become a good egg.
