WRITER MAN IN BETWEEN WORLDS

I found this old picture
while looking for another one:
Fishermen in between worlds
the sky and waters

writer man in between worlds
a picture in a drop of water
thoughts drifting across the sky, your mind
I am this old picture

  1. I would choose "in between" than "nowhere". It reminds me Faulkner's quote "Between grief and nothing I will take grief." However, at the same time the instant thought from Godard's "Breathless" where the hero is more drastic. He says that "Grief's stupid. I'd choose nothing. It's not better, but grief's a compromise. l want all or nothing."

Then I read your poem again and thought that while being tossed between two worlds, fishermen get fish for their survival and the hope to catch it.

The writer fishes for words and it's important to recognise the weight of his own thoughts.

No, never. But the world there is changing constantly. You won't find the same things you could have found yesterday.
