OUTSIDE THE CONSCIOUS MIND

they say the world doesn't exist
outside the conscious mind
and that a tree doesn't make any noise
when it falls down, if no one is around to hear it

I don't know about the world
but I would say
outside the conscious mind
there beauty surely can't exist
